Morgan Jimenez, LCSW
Nevada License #12783-C
Background and
Approach
Morgan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work and more than a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families. She specializes in early childhood mental health, with particular expertise in working with children from birth through age six, while also providing trauma-focused therapy for adults.
Throughout her 10-year career with the Nevada Division of Child and Family Services, Morgan has provided therapeutic services to children in foster care, youth experiencing mental health crises, adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system, and families navigating the effects of trauma. These experiences have given her a deep understanding of the unique challenges children and caregivers face, as well as the resilience that can emerge through compassionate, evidence-based support.
Morgan has advanced training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Conscious Discipline, the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Her clinical approach is rooted in attachment theory, recognizing the profound impact that early relationships have on emotional development, self-regulation, and lifelong patterns of connection.
Morgan believes healing begins within safe, trusting relationships. Through an attachment-focused lens, she helps children, adolescents, adults, and families better understand relational patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build healthier connections. Her goal is to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
When working with children, Morgan incorporates developmentally appropriate, individualized play therapy techniques that honor each child's unique strengths and needs. Through play, children can express emotions, process difficult experiences, develop coping skills, and strengthen their capacity for healthy relationships in ways that feel natural and engaging.
For adults, Morgan utilizes Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach designed to help clients process traumatic memories, reduce distress, and create meaningful change without requiring them to relive painful experiences in detail. She integrates ART with an attachment-informed perspective to support healing from trauma, anxiety, grief, and other life challenges in a way that is both compassionate and effective.
